Whitney Court – Accommodation
Magnificent oak door leads through entrance vestibule to the Great Hall.
This beautiful wood panelled room features a stunning feature fireplace, a Piano and a majestic solid oak staircase, with a beautiful Edwardian ceiling featuring the coats of arms of the Hope Family. This room is also licensed for weddings for up to 130 guests, and can seat 60 guests for dining.
Double Drawing Room
A wonderfully light and airy space, with breathtaking panoramic views to the rear of the property over the Wye valley towards the Black Mountains. This spacious area has two beautiful working fireplaces and plenty of comfortable seating. There are two large bay windows, one with seating, and French doors lead onto the terrace. This room can also be arranged to seat up to 132 guests for formal dining on round tables for large parties and weddings.
A lavish room, with rich colours and textures. A huge picture window gives fabulous views and creates a lovely light and airy room. The dining table has flexible dining for up to 22 guests. This room can be transformed into a restful sitting room for parties who may be using the Drawing Room for dining.

Cosy room with further comfortable seating and features a television with DVD player and Freeview and also Wi-Fi access, along with children’s toys and games.

The house is approached via wooden gates to a sweeping driveway with central fountain. The house is set in a 1,000 acre private estate, and is surrounded by parkland, woodland and beautiful gardens. The rear of the property there are several large, flat grass terraces, cascading down towards the River Wye, which can accommodate a marquee for up to 250 guests, with stunning far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside to the Black Mountains in the distance.
There are 11 miles of pathways around the estate, perfect for taking in the clear country air with long walks, early morning runs or even by horseback.
The estate includes the fishing rights to a 3 mile stretch of the River Wye, again available by prior arrangement for guests. We can also arrange clay pigeon shooting and falconry within the estate, and many other activities such as kayaking close by.
