Brinsop Court – Reviews
We rented the whole of Brinsop Court (3 separate house) for a team get together. The venue is excellent, and we were looked after throughout by Ali, who did a really good job.
I could wax lyrical, but with fifteen bedrooms across the three building, an incredible dining room, great library as well as lots of sitting rooms to spend time in, the accommodation is fantastic.
Each of the rooms, bedrooms, seating areas and dining areas is well appointed and beautiful.
The grounds are extensive, and great for a walk.
We hope that we are able to book for next year!
Having already stayed here once before, we knew straight away when we were trying to choose a venue for our wedding that there was only one place to hold it, and what a place it is! Firstly, Jonathon the Estate Manager was so helpful and dealt with our every question promptly (even the daft ones!) and could not have been more helpful. He really made us feel comfortable that everything was going to be the way we had planned it.
We hired out the whole venue from Fri-Mon and had 28 guests come stay with us for the entire weekend of celebrations. Everyone fell in love with Brinsop, much like we had when we first saw it.
The grounds are absolutely stunning and in the height of summer they epitomise all that is fantastic about the British countryside, with the moat (full of fish, some of which we had for dinner on the BBQ one evening), the well maintained and beautiful gardens, carefully manicured lawns, walks and trails and the views out over rolling hills, woods and fields. Simply breath-taking.
The building itself is beautifully presented with every room and feature kept in fantastic condition, and the variety between the rooms makes each of them a must see feature.
We held the ceremony in the Library and then had our wedding breakfast in the Banqueting Hall which is a very grand room with fantastic high, vaulted ceilings.
Ivy Cottage was the “Honeymoon suite” as it were for us and having stayed there once before we already knew how beautiful it was, with the outdoor hot-tub, huge bathroom and lovely, comfortable extra large bed amongst its best features.
For us the weekend was perfect; but the venue raised it to another level. Every guest commented on how stunning it was with the most common phrase used being “Its just magical” and we couldn’t agree more.
We will definitely be returning for an anniversary stay.
A superlative venue. We have met as a bench marking and business networking group every six months for five years and this is by common assent the BEST venue yet. Discrete, personal, freedom, relaxed, great food, lovely cake ! Great strolling around moat and gardens between business meetings. Great bird life, swans, moorhen, heron, mallard. Well done!
A stunning moated Manor House set in sumptuous countryside, the epitome of rural England. Whist the accommodation is luxurious the rooms are homely. There is a wealth of activities to be enjoyed within the house and grounds. Our party ranging from 14 months to 95 years enjoyed it immensely.there being something for everyone.
From the tasty cakes to the thoughtful little extras, Brinsop Court was so welcoming and certainly well worth the money. Everything was perfect and well thought out. The gardens were perfect for summer sports and the seats at the top of the terrace allowed the older family members to sit out and be part of the action. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Brinsop although everything was just perfect we didn’t need them out of hours as all was easily found and available to use. Thank you Brinsop Court for a fantastic break away for all of us.
