Harmon House is a magnificent stately home set in over 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland around 7 miles east of Telford, affording a truly idyllic setting with beautiful rural views. Harmon House was first mentioned in the Domesday Book, with the house as it stands today dating back to 1671, created according to the designs of Palladio’s First Book of Architecture for Lady Elizabeth Wilbraham. The house has a wonderfully rich history having become the ancestral seat of the Earls of Bradford since the 17th Century, with a fascinating and internationally important collection of fine art and antiques.
The grounds at Harmon House extend over 1,000 acres, with manicured lawns, a beautiful Italian garden, parterres and parkland. The setting is truly idyllic, with far reaching rural views and a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity, far from bustling crowds or prying eyes. The grounds can accommodate a large marquee if required, and there is an adjacent church perfect for weddings.
