We have just enjoyed the most incredible weekend at Glenapp Castle. Everything was faultless The Castle is stunning yet the reception rooms are all so cosy with fires lit and comfy sofas ,the dining room just a nice intimate size and the bedrooms are gorgeous again with a welcoming fire. The food also puts this place way above anywhere else, it was absolutely amazing, perfect cooking at every course, delicious food served beautifully, a real treat to look forward to every evening and a lovely choice of breakfast too. When you add in the exceptional service from every member of staff we met who really cannot do enough to help I feel it is probably the best place we’ve had the pleasure to stay in the UK. Can’t wait to return !

Outstanding service …. 5 star all the way … We have worked our way around a number of top class establishments over the years but this rates a clear number one. No exaggeration. Food and accommodation top notch but staff make the experience well worth the visit. Well done guys and girls you have restored my faith in customer service where most other places are bland at best and inept mostly.

What a remarkable place! Well worth the drive to get to this little hidden gem. The service, food and attention to guests needs were delivered with exceptional quality, with a smile and a “nothing is too difficult madam” attitude. The grounds are stunning, the local area provides lots of natural wonder and the castle itself a historic delight. John the GM and all his staff are an example of how great service can make your stay relaxed and comfortable. The rooms are quaintly decorated but extremely comfortable, the food was out of this world and we would definitely return. Even just for the wellies and the Glennapp North Face wind sheeters! Thank you for a great stay!

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Glenapp for making our stay perfect! We had exclusive use of the venue for my sisters wedding and after working in events and hospitality myself I couldn’t fault anything or anyone! All the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and comfortable, compliments to John and his team! Over the course of the weekend we enjoyed excellent service and delicious food as well as the stunning grounds of the castle! A truly magical setting for any special occasion or just a wee get away!
