The Goodwood Hotel is located at the gateway of the Estate, a beautiful 18th century former coaching inn, it has been restored and updated to offer a stylish base from which to enjoy all the estate has to offer.

The 91 en-suite bedrooms are spread across the historic original building and more modern wings, all beautifully furnished with contemporary flair and sumptuous linens, whilst suites offer particularly spacious accommodation with separate lounges and luxurious bathrooms. Several of the rooms are also pet friendly.

Goodwood Hotel is often used for accommodation for events taking place at the magnificent Goodwood House, just one mile away from the Hotel in the Estate, or The Kennels (the Estate’s Club House) or as additional accommodation for guests staying at Hound Lodge.

However, the Goodwood Hotel is a venue in its own right, with lovely bright and airy meeting and private dining spaces, and no less than two bars and restaurants, all beautifully furnished and styled in keeping with the prestigious Estate.

The Cedar Suite is the largest of the entertaining spaces at The Goodwood Hotel, with outstanding flexibility for conferences, product launches, meetings or training days. With capacity for up to 150 theatre style, 70 cabaret or 120 for banquets, the room can also be divided in two equal sized rooms to enable breakout space, media briefings or dinner dances. It also has its own bar, lounge and restrooms.

Large mirrors and floor to ceiling windows flood the room with natural light, and provide direct access to its own private outdoor area, the Cedar Lawn, complete with a canopy and al fresco dining furniture, ideal for summer soirees and receptions.

The Oaks Suite is another lovely bright and airy suite overlooking the front of the hotel, with two rooms than can be used for meetings, private dinners or training sessions, or combined for large events such as conferences or evening celebrations, with capacity for up to 75 theatre style.

The Lennox Suite is uniquely decorated in the style of a library, creating a more traditional, intimate feel. Often used for private dining, receptions and press conferences, it can seat up to 70 theatre style or 55 for dining.

   

There are three further syndicate rooms, Cork, Chestnut and Cherry, located near to the Cedar suite they can each seat 15 theatre style or 10 boardroom.

The Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant offers a unique concept. The majority of produce used comes from Estate’s very own Home Farm, one of the only self-sustaining organic farms in Europe, and the Chef designs the menu in conjunction with the Estate’s Butcher and Farmer to highlight the very best cuts of meat and flavours according to the season. Guests can expect fresh, tasty ingredients, all expertly prepared by the Head Chef, Darron, who has previously won two Michelin stars, along with a stylish bar which showcases the Estate’s heritage and memorabilia.

For a more relaxed affair, the Hotel’s Bar and Grill Restaurant is the perfect choice, with Bistro style menus featuring locally sourced produce. The Grill has a lovely al fresco dining area overlooking the Estate’s golf course, along with an adjoining lounge and bar area.

The Goodwood Hotel also offers a luxurious Health Club with an indoor pool, sauna, steam rooms and Jacuzzi, along with a Spa with treatments available, a well-equipped gym and personal training and yoga sessions.

The 12,000 Goodwood Estate offers endless activity options. The Dukes of Richmond have always had a love of sport and have over the last three centuries introduced horseracing, golf, motor racing, flying, hunting, shooting and cricket. The Estate is home to three of England’s most prestigious sporting and social events, including the Festival of Speed, the Qatar Goodwood Festival and Goodwood Revival, and the estate includes an airfield, a historic racecourse and motor circuit, two golf courses, and one of the oldest cricket grounds in the country.

From the traditional country pursuits of shooting and archery to off road driving in the Estate’s fleet of classic Land Rovers, from stunt driving lessons and supercar track days to vintage road rallies, from flying lessons to “grapefruit bombing”, the activities available here are endless.
