OUTSIDE

The 500 acre Aldourie Castle Estate extends from the shores of Loch Ness with a leafy Marina, through to the woodlands of the hill behind the Castle. The winding tree-lined drive leads to the Castle from the road, creating a special entrance. There are formal gardens and a large sweeping lawn in front of the Castle down to the edge of the Loch, with a large terrace perfect for drinks or al fresco dining. The original Kitchen Gardens have been preserved with beautiful historic greenhouses, shrubs and walkways to enjoy the scenery.
