Main House

   

Reception

Beautiful courtyard with glass atrium ceiling, comfortable seating, glass and wood wall revealing the bar and the “Horse Box” brasserie.

   

The Great Hall

Stunning triple height room with exposed Cotswold stone, beautiful fireplace, wood panelling, magnificent chandeliers and sumptuous seating. The Minstrels Gallery runs the full width of one end of the Great Hall overlooking the main room, a lovely spot for afternoon tea or for musicians to entertain.

   

Restaurant

Grand oak panelled dining room, original 16th century ornate carved fireplace, wonderful ceiling, leaded windows, lovely views.

   

The Library

Wood panelled private dining room or meeting room for up to 16 guests for dining, 18 guests boardroom style or 22 banqueting style. Portable 46” LCD screen, Wi-Fi access. Adjoins the Arkle Suite and adjacent to the restaurant.

   

The Royalist Room

Oak panelled with a stunning original stone fireplace, good natural light and views over the grounds. Can seat 16 theatre style, 12 boardroom or banqueting style, or 20 guests for a cocktail party. Portable 46” LCD screen, Wi-Fi access. Licensed for civil ceremonies.

The Boot Room

A selection of Dubarry boots and Hunter wellington boots available for guests’ use whilst strolling around the grounds or nearby.

The Spa

Indian-themed spa including 6 treatment rooms, spa Jacuzzi pool, sauna, steam room, sensation showers, relaxation room, juice bar. Treatment rooms are private and relaxing with adjustable lighting, candles, and personal iPod docks, and robes are included. Open 10am – 6pm for over 16 year olds only.

   

De La Bere Court

Beautiful Cotswold stone exposed walls and vaulted glass atrium flooding the room with natural light, with views over the lawns. Accessed via its own separate entrance with luxury restrooms, and a private bar, and access to the large mews lawn and terrace.

   

Fully integrated PA and audio system including microphones, projector screen and projector, programmable lighting with colour effects, automatic black out blinds, air conditioning.

   

Seats up to 116 guests banqueting style, 120 theatre, 60 cabaret, 35 boardroom, 70 classroom, 30 U-shape, or up to 140 for a cocktail party. Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 140 guests.

   

The Old Chapel

Double height auditorium located away from the main house in the Mews area. Vaulted ceiling with original arched windows, mezzanine with tiered seating, large private terrace and opens out onto the large mews lawn.

   

Includes air conditioning, 6ft portable screen with high specification projector, Wi-Fi. Seats 120 guests theatre style, 30 boardroom, classroom or cabaret style, or 100 for cocktail receptions. Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests.

   

The Cleeve Room

Located on the first floor of the main house, lovely exposed wooden beams, lots of natural light, beautiful 300 year old oak boardroom table, 52” LCD screen, integrated PA system with microphones, cabled high speed broadband and Wi-Fi, conferencing microphone and HD video camera, air conditioning. Seats 18 guests boardroom style.

   

Fitness Suite/gymnasium

Small gym with a variety of the latest Technogym equipment and machines.

   

Outdoor Swimming Pool

Heated outdoor swimming pool open year round, with sun loungers and terrace.

   

The Gazebo

Beautiful stone gazebo in the grounds, which is licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies and available only to exclusive use wedding bookings.

BEDROOMS AND SUITES

Ellenborough Park has 61 bedrooms & suites designed in traditional English county house style. The bedrooms are located in four separate buildings – Main House, The Mews, Ellenborough Gate and Woodland Court, and a short walk outside is sometimes required to gain access to your room.

   

All bedrooms have been individually styled by interior designer Nina Campbell, with a superb mix of traditional elegance and contemporary chic. There are several room types – Traditional Accessible, Traditional, Classic, Garden Classic, Deluxe, Poolside Deluxe, Luxury, Garden Luxury, Junior Suites, & Manor Suites.

Rooms are available for families, guests requiring disabled access and there are some rooms suitable for those who wish to bring well behaved dogs.

All bedrooms feature:

OUTSIDE

The estate is accessed via imposing Cotswold stone gates, leading to a sweeping driveway through the 90 acres of grounds and past the beautiful horse sculpture to the front of the house. There is parking for 134 cars, and a valet service to assist you with your bags.

   

The manicured Mews Lawn is ideal for drinks receptions, whilst the delightful herb gardens (planted and used by the head chef) with their intricate pathways can be found to the rear of the property. Near to the Woodland Court section is the outdoor heated swimming pool, with a wrap around sun terrace with loungers. Some of the guest bedrooms are located near here, many with private patios giving direct access to the swimming pool.

   

To the front and side of the property there is beautiful parkland with mature trees and views towards Cheltenham Racecourse creating a tranquil setting, with the beautiful gazebo which is licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies overlooking the grounds.
