Mark Hix, the celebrated chef, restaurateur and food critic, opened the Hix Oyster and Fish House in Lyme Regis to critical acclaim following a 17 year stint as Chef Director of Caprice Holdings. His original take on British gastronomy combined with an unrivalled knowledge of his ingredients has earned him a reputation as one of the UK’s most eminent restaurateurs, with regular columns in The Independent and Esquire.

Hix Oyster and Fish House regularly hosts events, courses and private dining options within the beautiful restaurant; set in a breathtaking position overlooking the Jurassic Coast. However this spring and summer, Mark is opening up his own home in Dorset for a select number of people to experience close up how he creates some of his most wonderful dishes, with an open cooking demonstration based on the best seasonal produce.

There will be plenty of time to chat to Mark and of course to enjoy his creations, with a four course lunch with wines to match. This exclusive experience is only available for a limited time, with places limited to 8 people per session. The experience is available on the following dates:
