We had a wonderful stay at Thowra House celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. Not only did our stay live up to all expectations, but beyond as well. The house was clean and extremely well equipped and even with the feel of modernity it was very homely and comfortable and every member of the family felt at ease and relaxed.
Miranda the cook needs special mention. Not only did she provide us with the most delicious food, but her service was exquisitely done. I am so pleased we did not opt for a waiter!
As for organisation of the weekend, nothing could have been simpler or easier thanks to the continuous information and regular contact from yourself. The staff at Thowra House were also very welcoming and easily contacted. All in all – marvellous! In fact we wanted to buy it as a family home but with Miranda included – we can dream!!

We had a fantastic weekend thank you, our only complaint was it was not long enough! We loved Thowra House, it is much bigger than it appears in the pictures and the dining room was amazing. We loved all the walks and the beautiful views, we hope to return for a longer stay as there was just too much to explore in one weekend!
